The Gering and Scottsbluff girls tennis teams were on the road Monday for competition at the North Platte Doubles Invite.
The Bearcats finished in second place with Gering back in sixth place. The host Bulldogs were the first place team on the day.
Scottsbluff’s top finish came at #4 Doubles with the team of Elizabeth Roberts and Njoleigh Gonzalez winning all three of their matches to take first place.
Scottsbluff was third at #3 doubles and the Cats finished fourth at #1 and #2 doubles.
For Gering the two top teams were solid. At #1 doubles it was Maia Swan and Jaylai Cervantes finishing second and at #2 doubles it was a second place finish for Hannah Walker and Aria Schneider.
The Gering #3 and #4 teams both finished sixth.
