Class B legion baseball teams from the region are gearing up for the Area 7 Tournament that starts on Friday in Alliance and the bracket was finally announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Gering has earned the #1 seed followed by Alliance, Ogallala, Chadron, and then Sidney. The tournament will start this Friday with a pair of games; Ogallala plays Chadron at 4:30 followed by Alliance vs. Sidney at 7 pm. Gering will get an opening round bye and then play the loser of the Ogallala/Chadron game on Saturday at 4:30.

Bridgeport is hosting the C-7 Tournament with Imperial, Valentine, Curtis, Hershland, and Sheridan County all set to compete. Bridgeport will open against top seed Imperial on Friday night starting at 7:30.
