BROKEN BOW – KBEAR celebrated its grand re-opening Thursday by hosting a Meat and Greet for the community.

The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce joined the KBEAR team for a ribbon cutting in front of the studios, then the public was treated to a free lunch with Piedmontese hamburgers, chips from Gary’s Super Foods and a Coca-Cola drink.

Members of the Nebraska Rural Radio Association (NRRA) Board of Directors were also on hand as well as staff members from other NRRA stations.

The NRRA recently purchased KBEAR from Mid-Nebraska Broadcasting and took ownership on April 1.

The NRRA is the only farmer-and rancher-owned radio group in the United States and has been serving agriculture since 1948.

KBEAR would like to thank everyone who attended on Thursday and all of our listeners who continue to support us.
