A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Merna with Pastor Greg Boller and Pastor Lana Day officiating. Burial will be in the Merna Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM with the family greeting friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Govier Brothers. Memorials are suggested to the family for assistance with medical and funeral expenses. Govier Brothers Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements. Beth Adams, born May 17th, 1969, passed away at home on May 28th, 2023, at the age of 54 surrounded by her loved ones.
Beth was the daughter of Charles Gray and Grace Freeborn, born in Forest Grove, Oregon. She graduated from Ansley High School in 1987. She later married Billy Adams on March 18th , 1990.
Throughout her life Beth was a nurse and she was very passionate about taking care of people. She worked at Heritage Hall, Custer Care Center, and Off Broadway. She was also a member of the EMS squad for several years. Beth had many interests and enjoyed crafting and giving gifts to her friends and coworkers. Beth had a huge heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She was a kind and loving soul. It didn’t matter who walked in the door, she was “Mama Beth” to everyone. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and being surrounded by her family. She will always be remembered for her kindness.
Preceded in death by daughter Kristen and grandson Liam, her mother Grace, and mother-in-law Sharon.
Left behind are her husband Billy, sister Amy (Michael) Dytrych of Eustis, brother Clyde Gray of Ansley, four daughters Tausha Gray of Merna, Courtney (James) Hage of Merna, Taylor Potter of Kearney, and Felisha Brock, grandchildren Ariana Montes, Donna Jo Hage, Evelynn Jane Hage, Sebastian Hage, Jesse Gallian, and Mikey Brock, and her father-in-law Bill Adams
