The manager of a Nebraska feedlot has been elected into a top leadership position within the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.
Buck Wehrbein, who has managed custom feedlots since 1984 in Nebraska and Texas, was elected Vice President of NCBA late last week.
Wehrbein also feeds his own cattle and previously served as the 2022 NCBA Policy Division Chair.
Wehrbein has been active in the beef industry for many years, serving on the Nebraska Beef Council since 2012. He held many different roles on the board for the Nebraska Beef Council, including treasurer and board chairman.
