A 44-year-old man from China admitted in court that he stole a trade secret from Monsanto while he worked in Missouri.

The man pleaded guilty in federal court in Missouri to conspiracy to commit economic espionage.

Leading grocery store operators ended 2021 with a lawsuit against the pork industry for allegedly conspiring to control the industry and raise prices.

Kroger, Hy-Vee and others filed the lawsuit against Hormel, JBS USA, and Tyson, among others last week.

Until Jan. 17, nominations are being accepted for Certified Angus Beef (CAB) producer awards, which recognize cattlemen and women raising beef to the highest standards.

Award winners will be invited to accept the honor at the 2022 CAB Annual Conference, set for September 28 to 30 in Phoenix, Ariz.
