Good Thursday morning to you and Happy Friday Eve! Here’s a quick look at some of the agriculture news our team is following today:

Earlier this week John Deere revealed a fully autonomous tractor that’s ready for large-scale production. Using John Deere Operations Center Mobile, they can swipe from left to right to start the machine. While the machine is working the farmer can leave the field to focus on other tasks, while monitoring the machine’s status from their mobile device.
The autonomous tractor will be available to farmers later this year.

For only the second time since May, the Purdue University-CME Group Ag Economy Barometer rose in December. However, farmers are concerned about rising input costs, with nearly half of producers choosing it as a top concern for 2022.
