Wayne State travels to Fayette, Iowa Saturday for an NSIC South Division contest against Upper Iowa with kickoff slated for 12 p.m. at Harms-Eischeid Stadium. The Wildcats are 6-2 (3-1 NSIC South) following last week’s 38-16 road win at Southwest Minnesota State while the Peacocks are 0-8 and 0-3 in the division after a 17-14 road setback at Minot State. WSC holds an 8-6 advantage in the all-time series against UIU that started in 2006 and has won the last three meetings that include a 62-0 win in Wayne in 2019. Nine of the 14 games in the series have been decided by seven points or less, including Wayne’s last trip to Fayette in 2018, a 42-35 Wildcat victory.
