The Winnebago Volleyball Team was swept 3-0 at Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Thursday night before falling 2-0 to Wausa and Plainview at Wausa in the Lewis and Clark Conference Tournament on Saturday, and then beating Winside 3-1 in a Consolation game at Winside Monday night.

The Bears won set one 25-16, and sets two and three 25-13.

The Vikings won set one 25-23, and set two 25-17.

The Pirates took the first set 25-8, and the second set 25-13.

Bago grabbed set one over the Wildcats 25-12, and won set three 27-25 and set four 25-23 after losing set two 25-21.

Really nice win for the Indians on Monday.

Winnebago (10-16) rounds out the regular season Thursday night against Homer (8-18) and Wakefield (17-10) at the Homer Triangular.

The Knights swept Walthill 3-0 in the Conference Tournament at Winside Monday night while the Trojans beat Laurel-Concord-Coleridge 2-1 in the 3rd place match of the Tournament at Ponca Tuesday night.

The Indians lost to Homer earlier this year, and will look to avenge that loss.

Wakefield is a really good team, and had a really nice showing at the Conference Tournament.

Bago has to simply step things up in these matches.

The Indians have to play at a higher level than they have at any point in the season.

Winnebago has to go out there and play lights out, and put good swings on the ball.

The Indians have to execute in all facets of the game, and serve, pass, block, dig, and serve receive well.

Winnebago has to ignite a spark and really enjoy playing these final regular season matches.

The Indians have to do everything they can to get ready for the postseason by doing well in both of these matches.

Winnebago has to show a lot of fight and might and will Thursday night.
