The Winnebago Volleyball Team split the Omaha Christian Academy Triangular last Thursday night, winning 2-0 over Walthill, but losing 2-0 to the host Eagles. Winnebago then fell 3-0 at Ponca Tuesday night.

Bago won set one 26-24 over the Blujays, and took set two 25-14.

OCA took the first set 25-18 and the second set 25-16.

Ponca won set one 25-16, set two 25-6, and set three 25-11.

Good play from Winnebago against Walthill.

The Indians (1-6) host their own Invite on Saturday.

This tournament was cancelled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Winnebago will face the likes of Walthill and Santee in this tournament so it should be a pretty good day of Volleyball for the Indians.

I look for Bago to come out and play well and have some good success on Saturday.

The Indians have to get after things, and do what they can to win this tournament like they did a couple of years ago.

I feel like Winnebago can get their season on track by having success in this tournament.

The Indians have struggled so far this year, but there’s no doubt they can get on track.

Winnebago may have been a stronger team a couple of years ago, and must raise their level of play on Saturday.

Perhaps some wins on Saturday would boost Bago’s confidence level.

I feel like the Indians have struggled so far this year in part due to being young and inexperienced, but think Winnebago will get stronger as the year goes on.

Perhaps the Indians can take a step forward on Saturday and have a good tourney.
