The West Point Beemer Volleyball Team won 2-0 over Twin River and Schuyler at their Home Triangular Thursday night before falling 3-2 at home to Tekamah-Herman Tuesday night in action aired on 107.9 the Bull.

The Cadets defeated the Titans 25-17 in set one and 25-16 in set two.

Jadyn Meiergerd had 11 kills and 7 digs while Emily Toelle recorded 7 kills. Addison Toelle posted 8 digs while Meg Anderson notched 22 set assists.

West Point-Beemer won set over the Warriors 25-6, and set two 25-15.

Anderson compiled 8 set assists.

The Tigers won set one 25-20 and took set two 25-14 before the Cadets won set three 26-24 and set four 25-15. Tekamah-Herman then erased a 13-5 deficit to win set five 15-13.

Meiergerd had 28 kills and 18 digs while Katie Rainforth notched 9 kills and 23 digs. Anderson posted 12 digs and dished out 41 set assists while Addison Toelle registered 12 digs. Lauryn Hagedorn added 11 digs while Emily Toelle chipped in 9.

Talk about heartbreak city for West Point-Beemer.

The Cadets (5-7) travel to Madison to take on the Dragons (0-10) Thursday night.

The Dragons fell 2-0 to Neligh-Oakdale and Bloomfield at their Home Triangular Monday night.

This match is one for West Point-Beemer to take any and all frustrations out on their opponent.

The Cadets have to come out and fix anything that might be hampering them from the loss to the Tigers Tuesday night.

West Point-Beemer has to stay loose and has to remain calm, cool, collected, and poised when trying to close out the match if the Cadets get to that point.

West Point-Beemer had the match won Tuesday night, but couldn’t seal the deal for whatever reason.

The Cadets have to be upset about that, and come out and take their frustrations out on the Dragons come Thursday night.

West Point-Beemer has a big week next week and a lot of tough upcoming matches so I think it’s important for the Cadets to play a complete match, and dominate from start to finish Thursday night.

West Point-Beemer can’t let the Tekamah-Herman loss carry over into other matches this year, and the Cadets can help prevent that from happening by taking care of business against Madison.
