The Tri County Northeast Girls Basketball Team is off to a slow start, losing 80-29 at Crofton Thursday night before falling 54-48 at home to Bloomfield Friday night.
Jordyn Carr had 18 of the team’s 29 points against the Warriors.
The Bees led 13-11 after one, and outscored the Wolfpack 17-10 in the 2nd quarter to take a 30-21 lead into the locker room.
Tri County Northeast won the 3rd quarter 14-10 to make it a 40-35 game at the end of three.
Bloomfield won the 4th quarter 14-13.
Carr had 19 points while Brynn Schock posted a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds. Rhyanne Mackling added 9 points.
The Wolfpack (0-2) hosts Siouxland Community Christian, IA (0-2) Thursday night.
I don’t know much about Siouxland Community Christian other than I think Tri County Northeast should be able to win this game.
The Wolfpack really has a chance to make some hay in their next 4 games.
Tri County Northeast got some girls going offensively against Bloomfield on Friday, and that needs to continue.
The Wolfpack has to keep improving each and every time they take to the floor.
Tri County Northeast has had a couple of tough games so far so hopefully the Wolfpack can resolve their issues and get back on the winning track on Thursday.
Tri County Northeast has to step things up on both sides of the ball.
Friday’s game was better than Thursday’s, but both were still losses.
The Wolfpack has to try and figure out how to turn those losses into wins come this Thursday and Friday.
Tri County Northeast has Laurel Concord-Coleridge on Friday, and their next 3 games are at home so the Wolfpack must do some damage here in the next week to week and-a-half.
Tri County Northeast simply has to find a way to get their season on track and headed in the right direction.
