The Tri County Northeast Boys Basketball Team fell 62-44 at Crofton Thursday night before beating Bloomfield 38-36 at home Friday night.

The Warriors led 13-4 after one, and outscored the Wolfpack 26-6 in the 2nd quarter to take a 39-10 lead into the locker room.

Crofton won the 3rd quarter 18-17 to go up 57-27 at the end of three.

Tri County Northeast outscored the Warriors 17-5 in the 4th quarter.

The Wolfpack led the Bees 13-12 after one and won the 2nd quarter 9-8 to take a 22-20 lead into the locker room.

Bloomfield won the 3rd quarter 9-8 to make it a 30-29 game at the end of three.

Tri County Northeast won the 4th quarter 8-7.

Nate Oswald had 9 points and 8 rebounds while Joshua Olesen and Ty Krommenhoek notched 7 points apiece.

The Wolfpack struggled offensively in both games, but their defense was really good on Friday.

Tri County Northeast (1-1) hosts Siouxland Community Christian, IA Thursday night.

I don’t know much about Siouxland Community Christian other than I think the Wolfpack will win.

Tri County Northeast hosts Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Friday night, and that game figures to be really tough for the Wolfpack.

Tri County Northeast has to work on being efficient on offense in Thursday night’s game.

The Wolfpack need a breakout scoring performance in that one.

Tri County Northeast has to continue to be solid defensively as well.

The Wolfpack has to build upon the good things they’ve done so far, and clean up the mistakes and mishaps that have been holding them back thus far.

Tri County Northeast has to turn in a great performance Thursday night to lead them into Friday night’s tough game.

The Wolfpack already has a win to build off of heading into this week’s games, now they just need another win on Thursday to have a second win to build off of heading into Friday’s game against the Bears.

Tri County Northeast’s next 3 games are at home, and that should help them work out their early season kinks I would think.
