The Tekamah-Herman Football Team lost 69-14 at home to Fremont Bergan Friday night.

The Knights led 42-7 after one, and 49-7 at halftime.

Bergan extended their lead to 63-7 at the end of three, and the Tigers won the 4th quarter 7-6 to make up the final score.

Kody Bitter made 10 tackles.

Tekamah-Herman had just 88 yards of total offense, including 65 rushing.

The defense gave up 512 yards of total offense, 279 coming on the ground.

The Tigers (1-6) take on David City (1-6) on the road Friday night.

The Scouts were shutout 61-0 at Aquinas last week.

Tekamah-Herman has to look at this game as if they have a really good chance to win it.

Both teams are equal record wise, and something has to give in this one.

A win would be big for the Tigers, especially since it would come on the road.

It’s a big game and a big deal to these Seniors, and for momentum heading into next season for the non Seniors.

I really think Tekamah-Herman can win, and fully expect the Tigers to pour their hearts and souls into this one.

Tekamah-Herman has to leave everything out on the field and play their hearts and guts out.

The Tigers should have nothing left after this game knowing they did everything they possibly could to win the game.

Tekamah-Herman has to get excited and fired up for this one, and treat it like their playoff game.

This is essentially the Tigers’ playoff game with Aquinas coming up next week.

Tekamah-Herman has to try and win this one and give themselves another win on the season and something to feel really good about.

This figures to be a heck of a game and a barn burner, and the Tigers have to give it all they got and lay it all out on the line.
