The Stanton Football Team routed Madison 52-6 at home Friday night.

Barrett Wilke had 3 carries for 69 yards, and a touchdown.

Parker Wiedeman made 14 tackles while Jordan Claussen had 10, and Brayan Acuna 9.

Stanton racked up 423 yards of total offense, including 351 rushing.

Big win as expected for the Mustangs.

Stanton (6-1) takes on GACC (2-5) on the road Friday night in the regular season finale.

The Bluejays lost 50-12 at Howells-Dodge last week.

The Mustangs are safely in the playoffs and the Bluejays are pretty much out, but Stanton still needs the win for playoff seeding and positioning.

The Mustangs have to come out and handle and take care of their business.

Stanton has to treat this game like any other, and cap off a really good regular season.

The Mustangs should expect a battle from GACC though.

This is the final game of the year for the Bluejays, including their final game at home so you know that GACC won’t go down without a fight.

That’s why Stanton has to come and play a full 48 minute four quarter game.

The Mustangs have to earn everything they get in this game, much like they have all season.

Stanton has to be ready for GACC’s best shot as there is no tomorrow for the Bluejays.

The Mustangs have to weather any and all storms GACC causes and creates, and overcome any adversity thrown their way.
