Quilt Show to be held in Fremont October 14th and 15th
September 28th, 2022 | News Release

Celebrating 40 years of a quilt guild wouldn’t be complete without a quilt show. On Friday and Saturday, Oct. 14 and 15, the Prairie Piecemakers Needlework Guild will continue to celebrate their Ruby Jubilee with a show at First Lutheran Church in Fremont. Friday hours are 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Among the 110 registered quilt pieces this year’s show will highlight additional pieces of work by previous quilt show’s featured quilters displaying their favorite piece of work.

The Prairie Piecemakers have invited numerous vendors filling the two days with fabric, sewing notions and other home goods for shoppers.

Also included in the event will be the Ruby Cafe with Hearty Quilters Soup and a cornbread muffin or chicken salad croissant. Homemade pie will also be available.

Attendees are welcome to enter the silent auction including 24 gift baskets. The guild has also constructed a raffle quilt designed by Scott Flanagan of Main Street Designs and pieced and quilted by members of the guild. Tickets will be available during both days of the show.

Admission to the Prairie Piecemakers quilt show is $5.
