The Pender Football Team won 68-22 at GACC Friday night.

The Pendragons led 34-0 at the end of the 1st quarter, and 48-14 at halftime.

Pender held a 54-14 advantage at the end of the 3rd quarter and won the 4th quarter 14-8.

Quinton Heineman had 9 carries for 159 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns while Braxton Volk was 4-8 passing for 109 yards and two touchdowns.

Heineman hauled in 3 passes for 103 yards and two TD’s.

Brody Krusemark made 10 tackles while Alex Roth had 7.

The Pendragons racked up 380 yards of total offense, including 235 on the ground.

Pender really bounced back in a big way in this one.

The Pendragons (2-3) take on Bancroft-Rosalie (2-3) on the road Friday night.

The Panthers upset Wisner-Pilger 37-36 on the road Friday night in action that was aired on 107.9 the Bull.

Bancroft-Rosalie has really come on lately so Pender has to be ready.

The Pendragons need to play a great game to come out on top in this one.

This one is really tough and difficult to predict for sure, but I feel like Pender could very well come out on top.

You can’t underestimate the Panthers though.

Bancroft-Rosalie has proven to be a very resilient and tough bunch, and this game is at their house.

You know the Panthers will be jacked and fired up and ready to go so the Pendragons have to be as well.

Pender needs a good, big, close road win to add to their resume.

So far both of their wins have come on the road, but the games haven’t been tight and close.

Pender has come up short in a couple of close games this year so we’ll see if their luck changes come Friday night.
