Niobrara Valley Vineyards will be celebrating two major milestones simultaneously the weekend of July 19th. The vineyard will celebrate its 10th anniversary, while also welcoming people to its brand new home.

NVV’s new facility features a tasting room, event space, and an adjoining RV park. The event space can hold 100 people indoors and features an outdoor canopy that can be utilized to accommodate more guests. On-site catering is also available for events.

Nestled south of Nenzel, Nebraska, the winery provides rural people with a place to gather. Owner Greg Nollette considers their “local” area to be a 90 mile radius from the vineyard.

“It has been well received,” said Nollette. “Friday night pizza night is not just a time to eat, it is a time to socialize.”

It all started in 2002, when the Nollette’s grew grapes for George Paul Gourmet Vinegars out of Cody, Nebraska. From there, their grapes were determined to be “too good to turn into vinegar.”

Over a decade later, NVV produces around 3,000 cases of wine each year.
