The Lyons-Decatur Northeast Girls Basketball Team lost 80-28 at Pender Friday night in the first round of the East Husker Conference Tournament.
Sydney Olsen had 9 points while Bailey Tuttle chipped in 8. Avery Bacon posted 7.
The Cougars (4-15) take on Madison (3-15) in an EHC Tournament Consolation Game at Madison Tuesday night.
The Dragons lost 65-21 to Clarkson/Leigh in Leigh in a first round EHC Game aired on 107.9 the Bull Friday night.
LDNE beat Madison 37-30 at home Tuesday night in another game aired on the Bull.
I think the Cougars could very well beat the Dragons again on Tuesday.
It won’t be easy though, and I think this game will be close and tight throughout.
A win would be big for Lyons-Decatur Northeast though and I hope they can get it.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Madison.
