The Cougars (4-14) take on Pender (17-2) in the first round of the East Husker Conference Tournament at Pender Friday night.
The Pendragons defeated Tri County Northeast 54-20 at home Tuesday night.
Pender beat LDNE 65-13 in Lyons on January 5th.
This is an awfully tough and difficult matchup for the Cougars coming in.
I will say one thing though…I think LDNE has the potential to play the Pendragons tougher than they did the first time around.
It’s the Conference Tournament, and I fully expect the Cougars to step up their game and raise their level of play come Friday night.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Pender.
