John C. Fremont Days taking place this weekend in Fremont

John C. Fremont Days is being held this weekend in Fremont. President Barry Reker tells KTIC News about the decision to hold opening ceremonies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday instead of at noon on Friday like in years past.

Reker says Silver Moon will perform in the Chautauqua Tent right after that at 7.

Reker talks about some of the events to be held Friday.

Reker says they anticipate having one of the biggest Car Shows they’ve ever had on Saturday.

Reker highlights some of the other activities going on Saturday.

Reker says there will be Church and a Parade on Sunday.

Reker says the Nebraska Remember Our Fallen Exhibit will be there on Saturday and Sunday.

He adds there will be a total of 94 vendors this year.

Reker says there are a few new events happening this year as well.
