August 15th, 2022 | Jeff Axtell

Bob Jensen of the Huskerland Prep Report sat down with KTIC’s Jeff Axtell to preview the upcoming High School Football Season for several of the 107.9 the Bull listening area Sports Booster Schools.

West Point-Beemer has a new look with new Head Coach Jacob Ellis at the helm of the program. Jensen weighs in on this year’s Cadet team.

West Point-Beemer finished the 2021 season with a 3-6 record.

Howells-Dodge won the 2021 Class D-1 State Championship, and has dropped down to Class D-2 this year. Jensen looks for the Jaguars to be very good once again this year.

Howells-Dodge hosts Neligh-Oakdale in the season opener on Friday, August 26th in a game that will be aired on 107.9 the Bull beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Oakland-Craig went 5-5 last year and reached the first round of the playoffs before losing to eventual State Champion Fremont Bergan. Jensen sums up this year’s O-C team, and talks about their season opening showdown with Norfolk Catholic.

O-C fell 20-14 at Norfolk Catholic last year in a game that was aired on the Bull.

Pender had a magical 9-1 season last year, falling to BDS in the 2nd round of the Playoffs in a game that was aired on the Bull. Jensen says the Pendragons have a chance to be a juggernaut once again this year under Head Coach Cody Volk.

The Pendragons open up the season at Elkhorn Valley on Friday, August 26th.
