The Howells-Dodge Boys Basketball Team won 59-47 at Mead on Saturday.
The game was tied at 7 at the end of one. The Jaguars won the 2nd quarter 10-8 to take a 17-15 lead into the locker room.
Howells-Dodge won the 3rd quarter 22-16 to extend their lead to 39-31 at the end of three.
The Jaguars won the 4th quarter 20-16.
Solid win for Howells-Dodge.
The Jaguars (12-1) host Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family (12-0) Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs won 76-27 at home over Summerland Friday night.
This is a rematch of last year’s Class D-1 State Title Game and should be a dandy.
The game being a home contest for Howells-Dodge is big I feel.
This is a makeup game from December so it’s good these two teams can get this one in.
It’s the start of what could be multiple meetings this season.
