GACC Boys lose to Crofton in Mid-State Conference Tournament

The GACC Boys Basketball Team lost 56-50 at home to Crofton in the Mid-State Conference Tournament Monday night.

The Warriors led 12-7 after one and won the 2nd quarter 10-8 to take a 22-15 lead into the locker room.

The Bluejays won the 3rd quarter 20-15 to make it a 37-35 game at the end of three.

Crofton won the 4th quarter 19-15.

I must admit I was surprised GACC lost this one.

The Bluejays (4-11) take on Norfolk Catholic (12-5) on the road Tuesday night.

The Knights beat Battle Creek 65-29 in a Mid-State Conference Tournament Consolation Game at GACC Friday night.

The Bluejays have a tough and tall task on their hand, but I feel like they can definitely play a good game.

We’re at the end of the season, and GACC has to step up and forget about Monday’s game and bounce back Tuesday night.

The Bluejays have to elevate their game given what’s left on the schedule for them this season.

Some of the upcoming games for GACC are manageable so the Bluejays have to see what they can do before season’s end.
