The GACC Boys Basketball Team lost 84-46 at home to Boone Central on Saturday.

The Cardinals led 19-14 after one and won the 2nd quarter 16-11 to take a 35-25 lead into the locker room.

Boone Central tripled up the Bluejays 24-8 in the 3rd quarter to extend their lead to 59-33 at the end of three.

The Cardinals outscored GACC 25-13 in the 4th quarter.

Branden Duhsman had 18 points while Michael Cohee chipped in 7.

The Bluejays (4-9) host Battle Creek (5-8) Tuesday night in action that will be aired on 107.9 the Bull.

The Braves fell 56-51 in OT at Lutheran High Northeast Thursday night.

I look for this game to be very close.

These two teams have had some good battles in the past and I think this year’s game will be no exception.

I feel things can go either way and wouldn’t be surprised if GACC won.

Battle Creek will be tough though so the Bluejays have to have the same kind of effort they had against Oakland-Craig and Pender last week.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. on the Bull.
