The Clarkson/Leigh Girls Basketball Team fell 60-56 at home to Pender in OT on Saturday.

The Patriots jumped out to a 15-8 lead after one. The Pendragons won the 2nd quarter 14-12 to make it a 27-22 game at halftime.

Pender won the 3rd quarter 14-10 to make it a 37-36 game at the end of three.

The Pendragons won the 4th quarter 19-18 to tie the game at 55 and send it into OT.

Pender outlasted Clarkson/Leigh 5-1 in the extra session.

Chloe Hanel had 17 points while Kennedy Settje added 16 and Faith Indra chipped in 12.

The Patriots (9-5) take on Lutheran High Northeast (5-8) on the road Tuesday night.

The Eagles lost 61-42 at home to Battle Creek Thursday night.

Clarkson/Leigh should win this one although I think the game is going to be close.

The Patriots had a couple of tough losses to a couple of really good teams over the weekend so it’s no time to panic.

With that said, Clarkson/Leigh has to step things up and get going again with lots of big games upcoming as we hit the home stretch of the season.
