Clarkson/Leigh Football rolls Cedar Bluffs

The Clarkson/Leigh Football Team won 60-8 at Cedar Bluffs Friday night.

The Patriots led 28-0 at the end of the 1st quarter and 52-0 at halftime.

Both teams scored 8 4th quarter points to make up the final score.

Solid win for Clarkson/Leigh.

The Patriots (6-0) travel to Stromsburg for an undefeated District Title Clash with Cross County (6-0) Friday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.

The Cougars won 68-0 at home over Madison last week.

This oughta be a great game.

It’s the 5th meeting between these two teams in the last 3 years.

Hopefully Clarkson/Leigh can breakthrough and beat Cross County like Howells-Dodge did last year.

I think the Patriots have the horses and the team to do it too.

I feel like this is going to be a great game and high scoring shootout.

I think a late defensive stand or score could win this one.

Clarkson/Leigh has already broken through this year, but could really break through with an absolute huge monster road win Friday night.

This one should be really good, and I think it will be a really hard fought, well played game between two great and really good teams.

A win would be absolutely huge for this program, and would solidify a District Championship.

The Patriots have to go out there and win and get that Championship.

Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. with pregame at 6:30 on the Bull.
