A special meeting of the Blair City Council this coming Tuesday at 6:30 – three public hearings, one for the 2024-25 budget, another for the proposed one year plan for street improvements, and a third for setting the levy. That meeting, again starts at 6:30, a half hour before the regular session of the city council. That regular session will start immediately after those public hearings. Among the agenda items for the regular council meeting – a public hearing for a conditional use permit, which if approved, would allow for condominiums at 590 South 10th Street. A revised constitution and by-laws for the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department will be considered, and an interlocal agreement between the city and Washington County for paving of public parking on 16th street in front of the Washington County Court House.
