The Bancroft-Rosalie Football Team upset Wisner-Pilger 37-36 on the road Friday night in action aired on 107.9 the Bull.
The Gators led 22-0 at the end of the 1st quarter before the Panthers made it a 22-7 game at halftime.
Bancroft-Rosalie won the 3rd quarter 9-6 to make it a 28-16 game at the end of three.
The Panthers outscored Wisner-Pilger 21-8 in the 4th quarter.
Michael Cooney was 17-29 passing for 229 yards with 3 touchdowns and an interception.
Animal of the Week recipient Elliott Nottlemann hauled in a school record 14 receptions for 209 yards and 3 TD’s.
Graysen Briggs had 55 yards rushing on 13 carries, including a score.
Jackson Cooney made 9 tackles while Nottlemann notched 8. Ross Tremayne added 7.
Bancroft-Rosalie had 357 yards of total offense, including 229 through the air.

Bancroft-Rosalie (2-3) hosts Pender (2-3) Friday night.
The Pendragons won 68-22 at GACC last week.

It certainly sounds like a very tall task and huge challenge for the Panthers, but they can definitely do it.
Bancroft-Rosalie has won their last two games after dropping their first three. Coach Elsasser says the kids’ confidence has really grown over the past couple of weeks.
Bancroft-Rosalie has to get jacked and fired up for this one.
The Panthers have to jump in a huddle before the game and have guys flying around at the top of the pile.
It sounds like the pride and tradition of Bancroft-Rosalie Football is back, and the Panthers have to go out there and ball out Friday night.
The Panthers have to play well defensively and fly around and limit Pender’s explosive plays and playmakers on offense to come out on top in this one.
