York College’s Lindsley earns KCAC Pitcher of the Week honors

WICHITA, Kan. – Cole Boardman of Ottawa University and Matt Lindsley of York College have earned the KCAC Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from March 26 – April 1 by a vote of conference sports information directors.

Lindsley pitched an incredible game against the No. 4 team in the nation this week. His dominating performance shut out the Eagles for the first time this season. He allowed just three hits and recorded three Ks against one of the top hitting teams in the nation.

York College has now earned back-to-back KCAC weekly honors.

Lindsley and the Panthers are back in action this Saturday when they travel to Winfield, Kansas, for a date at Southwestern College.
