Seven-run third leads Tekamah-Herman Seniors past Laurel-Coleridge

Seven-run third leads Tekamah-Herman Seniors past Laurel-Coleridge

A seven-run third inning led the Tekamah-Herman Seniors to a 10-1 win over Laurel-Coleridge in five innings in Ralph Bishop League baseball action Wednesday evening.

Nate Olson earned the win on the mount for the Tiger Seniors, going three innings while striking out five and allowing three hits, walking one. Dillan Beaumont pitched the final two innings, earning the save.

Cody Martin suffered the pitching loss for Laurel-Coleridge. He allowed seven runs on five hits, walking four while striking out two.

Austin Pickell, Clay Beaumont, Nate Olson, Robby Mayberry, Max Hansen, Matt Hawkins & Cameron Douglas each got a hit to lead the Tiger offense. Hansen has the biggest of the seven hits, a 3 RBI-2B in the third inning.

Chauncey Rogers scored two runs for the Tiger Seniors. Also scoring were Pickell, Mayberry, Douglas, Brandon Schram, Drew Schmidt, Clay Beaumont, Luke Wakehouse & Justyn Hale. Schmidt & Hale each walked twice. Olson & Mayberry each added two RBI’s while Schmidt & Hawkins each drove in one.

Next action for the Tekamah-Herman Juniors & Seniors is scheduled for Friday, June 15 at home vs. Pierce with the Juniors set to kick off at 5:45 pm followed by the Seniors at 8pm.

The Tekamah-Herman Seniors are now 6-3 following tonight’s win, their third in a row.
