How It Happened
Iowa State led at the break 45-28. The Cyclones held a five-point lead (27-22) with five minutes left before intermission, but then went on a 13-2 run.

Wigginton scored eight points in the flurry, including a four-point play when he was fouled on a made 3-pointer. Wigginton netted all 13 of his first-half points in the final 6:35 of the period.

The Mountaineers trimmed the lead to 10 points with under nine minutes left in the game after the Cyclones had built an 18-point advantage. However, Weiler-Babb scored four points in a quick 6-2 Cyclone burst to push ISU back out in front, 67-53 with under eight minutes left.

ISU cruised the rest of the way.
