A nine-run third inning led the Tekamah-Herman Seniors to an 11-2 win over Wakefield in five innings.
Drew Schmidt started on the mound for the Tiger Seniors, allowing two runs on three hits in 1.1 innings of work while striking out three. Clay Beaumont was the winning pitcher for the Tigers, giving
up no hits or runs. He struck out seven Wakefield batters and only allowed one walk.
Edgar Godinez took the loss for the Wakefield Seniors, going 2.2 innings while allowing nine runs on five hits and striking out two.
Drew Schmidt & Matt Hawkins collected two hits to lead the Tiger Seniors offense. Schmidt singled twice while Hawkins singled
& doubled. Other Tiger Seniors hitting safely were Dillan Beaumont, Justyn Hale & Max Hansen, who all singled. Schmidt, Hawkins & Hansen each drove in two runs while Luke Wakehouse scored two runs.
Other Tiger Seniors getting into the scoring column included Brandon Schram, Drew Schmidt, Dillan Beaumont, Nate Olson, Robby Mayberry,
Justyn Hale, Brady Ball, Max Hansen & Chauncey Rogers. Schram & Clay Beaumont also drove in a run apiece for Tekamah-Herman.
