YORK, Neb. – The York County Board of Commissioners heard a proposal Tuesday morning for York County’s One and Six Year Road and Bridge Program.
Among the items on the One Year Plan is cleaning several ditches, adding gravel, replacing culverts, repairing asphalt, and extensive chip seal work throughout the county.
York County Highway Superintendent, Harvey Kiem, lists a couple roads that will see improvements this year.
The One Year Plan has a total of 19 projects for an estimated total of just over $363,000. The Six Year Plan has an additional 39 projects including, 12 bridge replacements throughout the York County.
The York County Board of Commissioners will take action on the proposed program February 13.
