Three Students Injured In Bus-Truck Accident Near Osmond

Three Students Injured  In Bus-Truck Accident Near Osmond

A  Boyd County school bus was rear-ended by a semitrailer truck on Highway 20 near Osmond, Nebraska Tuesday afternoon, injuring three students.

 

 

It happened around 3 in the afternoon after the  bus had stopped at a railroad  crossing, according to  the Nebraska State Patrol.

 

 

Twenty-five students were on the bus. Three were taken to the hospital in Osmond and one was transferred to the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

 

The semi driver, 62-year-old Allen Lamprecht, of Beemer was not injured.  The driver of the bus, 60-year-old  Larry Eilers, of Lynch also was not hurt.
