A 25-year-old Scottsbluff man is being held on a $91,500 bond following a Saturday night arrest near Gering High School.

Christopher Droppleman was arrested on charges of: Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Distribution of a Controlled Substance in a School Zone, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Court documents say a deputy made the traffic stop on U Street, and saw an open marijuana dispensary container on the floor board of the vehicle.

Authorities then found a bag in Droppleman’s hoodie that had three individual baggies of marijuana tied up and prepared for sale. The deputy also found a clear glass pipe with a white residue that appeared to be methamphetamine.

Droppleman is scheduled to make his first appearance on the charges on Monday afternoon in Scotts Bluff County Court.
