Rural Pilger Man Arrested After Chase

Rural Pilger Man Arrested After Chase

At approximately 2:30  this morning (Thursday) a 29-year-old rural Pilger man was arrested following a pursuit on Hwy 15 and county roads north of Pilger.

 

 

The Stanton County Sheriff’s office attempted to have contact with a southbound pickup driven by Michael Temme on Hwy 15 when the pickup fled at high speeds and after several miles turned west onto a county road and later entered a farm field and continued his efforts to flee, before his pickup became disabled after striking an embankment.

 

 

Temme was taking into custody.  He  was jailed on charges of Willful Reckless Driving, Operating a Motor Vehicle to Avoid Arrest, Driving While Intoxicated and Resisting Arrest.
