A 36-year-old Scottsbluff woman has been airlifted to Regional West Medical Center following a Tuesday morning rollover accident on Robidoux Road.

Deputies with the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Department say that around 6:10 a.m., Santa Quiros- Lerma was driving eastbound on Robidoux, and hit a wet spot on the road. Quiros- Lerma lost control of her Ford Explorer, causing it to go into the ditch, flip end-over-end, and rolled over.

Her passenger, Felicia Hernandez of Scottsbluff, was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported by Air Link after receiving serious injuries on her right thigh.

Deputies say that neither woman was wearing their seat belt at the time of the accident.

Staff at Regional West Medical Center say that Hernandez is listed in fair condition.
