Blizzard conditions are expected in northeast Nebraska so a winter storm watch is in effect late Friday night thru Saturday evening.

Winds gusting as high as 50 mph could cause whiteout conditions in blowing snow and drifting is also possible.

The West Point area could see 4 inches of snow.  Minor ice accumulations is also possible.

Travel is expected to be difficult and heavy snow could down tree limbs and power lines.
