A Morrill County man has been arrested on drug charges due to suspicious activity involving a disabled vehicle on a Scotts Bluff County road early Friday morning.
24 year old Alex S. Kildow was contacted by the Nebraska State Patrol shortly after midnight Friday. Kildow told the trooper his car was out of gas and needed a jump start. The trooper said he thought it was strange Kildow was on a Scotts Bluff County road early in the morning when he lives in Morrill County. Kildow then refused a request to search his vehicle for contraband.
When Deputies arreived to assist the trooper one of them located several items on the ground undernneath the vehicle. They included a digital scale with a tar substance that tested positive for heroin, fourteen used hypodermic needles, two pipes, and other drug paraphernalia.
Kildow was arrested for possession of heroin, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
