Mayor Fagot reelected to lead City Council

During the Lexington City Council’s reorganization meeting on Tuesday, fellow Council members reelected John Fagot to serve as President of the City Council which is essentially the office of Mayor. Fagot has served on the City Council since 1994. During the meeting, the Council also elected John Salem to serve as Vice-President of the City Council. Mayor Fagot, Salem and Steve Smith were all reelected to the City Council in November’s General Election.
