As the snow begins to fall in Scottsbluff, more than 50 local vendors, crafters, home businesses and more have set up shop at Monument Mall for their ‘All I Want for Christmas’ Expo.

The event features something for everyone, and at the 10 a.m. start time many people were already patronizing the businesses for an early start on Christmas shopping.

Some of the items include custom handcrafted to wreaths from Scottsbluff based Cricket’s Creations to silk screen home decor from Huntley, Wyoming based Chalkitis- Chalk Couture.

Owner Tammy Zimmerer says she does about four of these expos per year, and says it’s great for locally owned small business owners.

“It gets their name out in the public, it gets their products out into the public,” explains Zimmerer. “It’s a really good event and there’s a lot of small business people out here, so we hope we can get a lot of shoppers looking for some Christmas items- looking for something unique- and we hope everybody stops by.”

The expo runs until 3 p.m. Saturday at Monument Mall.
