A 25-year-old Lexington man was apprehended Saturday afternoon by the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office on a Dawson County Arrest Warrant for Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver and Possession of Marijuana-More than an Ounce and Less than a Pound.

It stems from a Nebraska State Patrol investigation in which a search warrant was served April 24th on Alexander Arango-Palacioos’s Lexington residence. During the search, a safe was located that contained about 15.8 grams of methamphetamine. Also located in the residence was several ounces of marijuana, a Kevlar vest and a .380 semiautomatic pistol. Other drug related items were seized leading to the State Patrol’s obtaining of the arrest warrant. An arraignment and bond setting was still pending.
