YORK, Neb. – Peyton Hoffman was only 11 years old when he passed away on March 19, 2010. The son of Chad and Julie Hoffman shared a strong love for animals and the outdoors with his brother, Parker.

On Tuesday, Parker and the Hoffman Family made a generous donation to York’s Animal Science Lab in honor of the late brother and son.

York Superintendent, Mike Lucas, said he wishes Peyton could have enjoyed the facility as much as Parker has.

Through this $5,000 donation, Peyton’s legacy will live for years to come in a valued part of York Public Schools and the Community of York.
