Country music star John Conlee will be in Gering for a Saturday night concert to benefit the Legacy of the Plains Museum.
Conlee has seven number one hits, and 14 others that also tracked in the top ten. Conlee says while he will play some new songs too, he will make sure those hits are played during his performance.
His number one songs include “Lady Lay Down”, “Backside of Thirty”, “Common Man”, and I’m only in it for the Love.” But “Rose Colored Glasses”, which only reached number five, is probably his most popular song.
Kenyon Lockry will open at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the Gering museum for $20 in advance, $25 at the door; children 6-12, $10.
