Preparations are already underway for the annual Christmas Dinner in the Valley on Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Guadalupe Center in Scottsbluff.

The dinner is free, open to the public, and meals will also be delivered to the homebound.

Harvest Valley Church organizer Melissa Turman says while they could use volunteers, and maybe a few more pies, the food was being delievered today (Thurs) with enough being prepared to serve over 900 people.

if you’d like to help, volunteer, or have a meal delivered, contact Larry Massey at 436-7554, or visit the Harvest Valley website at havestvalleychurch.com.

Massey anticipates because of the expected inclement weather, there may be more dinners served this year.
