The West Point Beemer proposed school budget calls for fewer tax dollars for the second year in a row.

Superintendent Bill McAllister says from three years ago,  the amount of taxes requested is down about $570,000.   Part of that is reduced staffing.  This year’s tax request is down around $60,000.

No one from the public commented on the budget at Monday night’s hearing.

The board will vote on the budget at next week’s meeting.
