(AUDIO) West Point-Beemer School Board Holds Monthly Meeting

The West Point-Beemer School Board met for their regular monthly meeting Monday night. Superintendent Bill McAllister says a Pathways 2 Tomorrow (P2T) meeting is being held next Monday at Howells-Dodge High School.

McAllister says the meeting is open to the public and will get underway at 7:00 p.m.

He adds about 80-90 kids are signed up for Summer School, which began last week.

McAllister also gave a Legislative Update at the meeting, saying one bill he discussed was LB399.

Also at Monday’s meeting, the Board approved a 10 cent increase in the price for student lunches.

McAllister said.

The cost for grades PK-4 is going up to $2.71 next year, up from $2.61 last year, while grades 5-12 will see an increase to $2.91 next year, up from $2.81 a year ago.
