Native 32 Winery near West Point is holding their grand opening this weekend. Co-Owner Dale Doernemann explains how he and his brother, Keith Doernemann, came up with the name.

The grand opening will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Native 32 Winery is located about 10 miles west of West Point on Highway 32 by the old Aloys Church.

Dale Doernemann says the winery will serve many different kinds of wine.

Doernemann says wine will be for sale by the case and bottle.

Doernemann adds they’ll be giving away prizes and will also have food and music, among other things.

Doernemann says hours of operation will be Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 8:00 p.m. or dusk and maybe on Fridays from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 or 9:00 p.m.

Their website is native32wine.com.
