75-year old Rolland Metz, of Tekamah, who went missing on Monday, has been found. Tekamah Police Officer Jeremiah Johansen has the details.

“Rolland Metz was found tonight (Tuesday) at approximately 5:50 p.m. in the middle of a cornfield on the East edge of Tekamah. He was found by Able One from Omaha. Was found alive, was alert, and we made contact with him. Was transported by Ambulance to Blair Community Hospital. And as I know right now is in good condition.”

Johansen says the Tekamah Fire Department, Oakland Fire Department, Craig Fire and Rescue Department, as well as Tekamah Health and Rehab Staff, and members of the Tekamah Community, aided in the search of Metz.
